A spot that has becomed increasingly popular with locals lately. Molja is an old lighthouse sitting on the very tip of a molo. It was first raised in 1858 to ensure safe passage of the fishing vessels at night. Today it has a complete different purpose as a hotel suite! Molja - a beautiful lighthouse

A very nice lighthouse in the middle of Ålesund. Today it is not used as a lighthouse, but as a hotel suite! The street you walk through to get there, Moloveien, is also very nice.
