Cozy cottage with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, walk in shower, fire place, hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, TV in every room. Watch the sun rise on the front porch, or sip a cup of coffee on the back patio with limited views of bluff mountain. We are 10 minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge, 20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. (There is construction currently near and surrounding the cottage, you will experience noise)

Come relax & enjoy our charming cottage on the main channel of Douglas Lake. Experience breathtaking sunsets, lakeside bonfires, & refreshing dips in the cool water. Please note, the water level is highest from May-August. This home accommodates 4 adults max & 3 children. The dock does NOT have water at it during winter/early spring drawdown (typically Oct–April). Guests can still walk to the shoreline. Drought can effect levels as it’s a dam system.

It is separated from neighboring homes by forest, but that doesn't mean sacrificing convenience. The cottage sits beside a mountain creek which can typically be heard through open windows in the evening, while visiting with friends around the creek side fire ring, or while exploring the short walking trail.

The Green Door Cottage is a peaceful place to relax and unwind. We strive to provide a clean and fun place to make your home during your vacation! There is plenty of room to accommodate 6 to 8 people, with a master bedroom with bathroom attached, and 2 other bedrooms that share a bath and a half. The most amazing part of our cottage is outside. There is a back porch with gas grill, hot tub, fire pit and even a 9 hole Disc Golf course!
