Ideally situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and within easy reach of the Lakes. Our cosy cottage sits in the heart of historic Kirkby Lonsdale, and has recently been completely refurbished to meet all your needs for a luxury vacation away in the beautiful surroundings of the Lune Valley. The charming town centre with its wide range of boutique shops, bars and restaurants is within 100 yards . Close by are picturesque strolls along the river, and walks into the hills are literally just up the road. A great base for the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales .

Located on the village square Bear Cottage is in the heart of Ingleton, with cosy open plan living downstairs, 1 double bedroom, tiled bathroom with underfloor heating and heated towel rail. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, washing machine, toaster etc, the lounge area has a smart tv with Netflix, Amazon Prime, fast wifi, smart speaker. There are smart low energy electric radiators throughout, a small well behaved dog is also welcome downstairs.

Private parking at the rear & the village car park has several EV charging points if needed. A short walk to the village stores, The Sun Inn, cafe bars & The Heritage Centre & Cafe.

The cottage is in the small village of Gressingham in the beautiful Lune valley and Forest of Bowland AONB. There is easy access to both the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales national parks. In addition the attractions of Kirkby Lonsdale, the historical city of Lancaster and RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss are only 15-20 minutes away. Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
