The capital of Interior Mani and one of the most touristic villages in the wider region is a well-preserved settlement with stone alleys, well-kept tower-houses and stone-built Guest houses. In the center of the village there is the large square with the statue of Petrombei Mavromichalis, where on Saturdays, the local producers set up their benchs and sell their local products. Around the square you will find many shops, taverns, cafes and the municipal library. Walk towards to the traditional part of the settlement and admire the towers (distinguished the tower of Stylianos Mavromichalis, Kyriakoulis Mavromichalis, Barelakou and Pikoulaki).
