Just a few miles away, Dini’s is one of Carlsbad’s most popular and historic restaurants, featuring delicious food, beautiful ocean views, and a lively casual bar. They have an extensive selection of food (burgers, oysters, steak, salads, pasta, fish & chips, fish, pizza, soup, etc.) and their menu is built around a unique selection of casual California coastal cuisine. I highly suggest trying their fish or chicken tacos. Amazing!

Enjoy a sunset view with dinner from their outdoor patio. Also serve lunch (ocean view).

Din's is nostalgia for me, one of the first places a friend brought me, more years ago than I will mention, lol. I have taken all my friends from back east, my parents and my kids here for a true welcome to a southern California experience. Patio overlooks the ocean. Great for people watching joggers and dog walkers passing by. If you are lucky, you may find yourself dining on an evening the trumpeter appears on the outdoor patio and plays taps at sunset. Really awesome....

GREAT FOOD at a reasonable price and bar is young and fun. Best sunset in SD along with the nightly blowing of taps by a local trumpeter. Older folks can get away from the hoopla and get a table on the patio for a more quiet dinner and drink.
