Leentjies klip is a portion of the Wilderness beach and is situated on the far side of the western corner. You can access the beach and parking area by following Sands road just off the N2.

Leentjiesklip is a portion of Wilderness Beach and is situated at the far western corner of Wilderness beach. The Wilderness Beach itself stretches from Kleinkrans to the mouth of the Kaaimans River estuary. Leentjiesklip and Leentjiesklip Beach are easily accessed from the N2. From Wilderness Village, turn into Station Road and again right into Sands Road. When you reach the beach you will find limited parking, clean ablutions facilities, sand-off foot shower and a braai (barbeque) and picnic area. The Leentjiesklip area is popular with for sunbathing, fishing, whale watching, birding and it also serves as a landing strip for hang-gliders and para-gliders.

Blue flag beach, safe for swimming, but there is so much beach to choose from along the whole stretch of Wilderness beach.

Great beach swimming spot for kids. Lifeguards on duty during peak holiday times. Stay within the flag poles for safe swimming conditions.
