Beautiful water falls - the first of 3 at this location. Lower Falls is easily accessible from the parking lot. There are picnic tables and latrines. There is an easy and beautiful path alongside the river, that winds briefly through the campground, and takes you from Lower to Middle Falls which is even larger. (Approx. 1.5 miles) Great picnic spot!

There is a wonderful trail from Lower Falls to Middle Falls (pictured) about 4 miles east of McCloud. It is an easy walk with spectacular River views and the Waterfalls. The more ambitious can continue to Upper Falls and Lakin Dam.

The Wild and Scenic McCloud River offers 3 absolutely spectacular water falls and a very nice easy to moderate hiking trail along the river. A must see when visiting the Mt. Shasta area!
