Located deep in the heart of the beautiful Cumbria countryside, just west of Broughton-in-Furness, Silecroft golf club is a nine-hole course which may be played as an eighteen-hole, and as such, extra tees are available. Established in 1903, there is much here to challenge golfers of every level of ability, whether high or low handicapper, as there are enough hazards and obstacles on each hole to force you to think about your every shot. The greens play fast and true, and are meticulously tended to by the greenskeepers. As it is by the sea, the prevailing wind can sometimes cause havoc and drag your ball off into an altogether different direction so be wary of that also.
