We buy our meat at this butcher. Meat is expensive in Switzerland so most people buy it at the supermarket. We discovered that this butcher has more or less the same prices as the supermarket, some times even cheaper and the quality has nothing to do. You can buy Simmental or Herens beef which are two of the best meats you can find (usually the meat that is served in upper scale restaurants). Check out the "viande séchée", a swiss speciality usually called "viande des grisons" but the people in valais don't use the name because it isn't there area! It's a smoked beef meat you must try. It's expensive but no need to buy a kilo!
