Reviews from visitors: *My favourite place to take visitors, especially in summer. Not a long walk to the monument and worth the walk. Usually quite windy (hence good for hang gliders that are there on weekends), but if not too windy, it is nice to picnic on the clifftop. There are also some good places to eat on the waterfront. *Nice on a sunny evening to visit or first thing in the morning. Worth the effort *Beautiful historic site. View and walk around the cliffs was amazing. *One of the most beautiful places I've been to in Sweden. Usually very windy! *Go in the summer and enjoy one of the greatest views and cultural taste Sweden has to offer.

On the ridge above the harbor in the fishing mode Kåseberga is Sweden's largest ship, Ales stones. It currently comprises a total of 59 boulders, is 67 meters long and 19 meters wide. The experience on the ridge, where the sea meets the sky and nature come so close is magical! For fishing situation every day, throughout the year, numerous visitors who want to enjoy the atmosphere, eat and drink well and hike up the ridge to the stone ship. Artists, artisans, souvenir shops and Rescue Museum is side by side with restaurants, fish smokehouse and kiosks. To come up to Ales stones if they are disabled or in wheelchairs is unfortunately not possible. You can not run up there with the car and the road up the country lane with grass in the middle and difficult to roll on.
