If you want to take home some Danisk "smørrebrød". This is a very classic place, also good to buy lunch to take with you.

As oldschool as it gets. A great place to try the classic danish Smørrebrød - richly decorated open sandwiches on ryebread. At Th. Sørensen it seems like the prices haven't changed since the 90's, so it does'nt get cheaper!

Get your famous "smørrebrød" here, the open faced sandwich on rye bread. Great selection for takeaway, and decent prices. Bring it home or to a park nearby. A must-try while in Copenhagen
