If you take a walk along Chorlton Ees you might stumble upon this hidden gem which is always good for a stop off for liquid refreshments. A traditional cosy riverside pub with open fires in the winter and lots of outdoor seating for the summer. The most direct route from Chorlton Green is to follow the public footpath at the bottom of Brookburn Road which will bring you out opposite the pub (5 -10 min walk).

Well of the beaten track, it has the feel of a country pub. Cheap beer and food and a nice trek to get there. They also have a play area for kids and occasional live music events.
