The largest wind farm in the southern hemisphere, it is a wonderful drive to sail along beneath the majesty of the white turbine blades slicing through the air above rolling green hills. The c=scale of the wind farm is quite stunning and the opportunity to get up close and personal is available with a tower that is located very close to the road so that tourists and can get a sense of the real scale of these giant windmills.
