For this market you have to cross the water to get to the other side of town. There you have the Noordermarkt on Saturday's and on Monday's. It's definitely worth having a look.

Aside from the lively markets on Saturdays and Mondays, still worth visiting on other days. Filled with nice restos and shoppings frequented by the locals.

The best market of Amsterdam! Lots of good stuff, hippy style, the best apple-pie on the corner, a half day out,tip: combine it with a museum!

nice market. on monday with antique and vintage and on saturday with organic food etc. Have a coffee at Libertine or Finch after shopping!
