The gunpowder plot allegedly was "plotted" here.. I was born a gnat's throw from this house and passed it every day. Years later vising this thatched cottage , I felt silly that I'd lived within such close proximity of such an amazing park of British History, and chosen to ignore.......... Visit yourselves please.
