Berry Head is a unique vantage point to view the whole of Torbay and even as far as Portland Bill on a clear day. The Guardhouse Cafe is a delightful rest stop with indoor and outdoor seating. A great menu. Or grab a take-away coffee and take it with you as you walk.

Berry Head Nature Reserve With its vast open spaces, Berry Head Nature Reserve is great for enjoying coastal walks and fantastic panoramic views across Torbay. Popular among dog walkers, this beautiful headland sits on 200 feet cliffs and is also well known for a wide range of wildlife spotting on land and sea. Spectacular views, a lovely walk, cafe, historical interest with a small museum and small lighthouse. Watch the sailboats or the fishing trawlers go by. Head into Brixham harbour for a spot of shopping or watch the world go by.

This is one of the best and easiest local walks you can do. It does not take long to get there and is easy with children. There is a café at the top that does nice food. You can sit outside in the summer.

Fabulous views and wildlife. The two Napoleonic forts are rare and especially complete. Make sure you pay the car park fee (24 hours) as the cameras will get you otherwise !!

Berry head is a beautiful place to walk and see seals and dolphins and lots of other nature the views are spectacular definitely worth a visit, it is about a 20 min drive to Berry head.
