An elegant piece of history nestled in Wisconsin's northwoods. Marvel at the grand lodge and learn about the history of Wisconsin's lumber barons. Gourmet food in the dining room and stunning views of the lake from any side of the island. Make sure to reserve ahead at least 1 week in advance and know that people who are not staying on the island can only dine Sunday - Thursday. Also note transportation to the island is by boat and there may be a per-person service fee of $5 (at time of writing).

This is a 4 star restaurant and lodge. You can eat there during the week and at lunch. But hard to get a reservation.
