This historical cinema was supposed to be destroyed. The locals protested and occupied it to revive it into a social cinema which stages fantastic summer festivals and hosts screenings of great films.

This cinema was taken over by young people a year or two ago. Now they show interesting films and hold talks, or show soccer matches. They have kept the police out all this time and are doing well!
