Sundsby Säteri is a historic estate with a café serving home made bread and cakes. It's also the starting point to several rambling paths in fantastic surroundings. Our favorite path is Sundsbyleden of 4,3 km with a short visit to the caves. You can chose short and easy or longer and harder, there are several choices.

Sundsby manor At Sundsby manor there is much to discover, an exciting and interesting history, several hiking trails, a garden and a beautiful park landscape. The park, garden and hiking trails are open 24 hours a day, all year round. Admission is free, except for special events. Café, restaurant and shops have special opening hours. Sundsby manor History Experience the cultural-historical environment at Sundsby manor and take part in the fascinating story of Margareta Huitfeldt, who lived here on the manor in the 17th century. Who was this woman who left such a strong mark on Sundsby manor and who came to be one of Bohuslän's most powerful women? And who made himself and his son Ivar immortal through what is almost the largest single donation in Sweden. Nature There are several hiking trails of varying difficulty in the manor's surroundings. The trails start from the parking lot at the southern part of the dam. Sundsbyleden, the longest is 4.4 kilometers, runs through beautiful mixed forest and is partly hilly. The easiest is Iver's forest walk - the children's round that is tested by three-year-olds. Find here Sundsby säteri is located about an hour's drive north of Gothenburg, more precisely on Mjörn, an island in Tjörn municipality. At road 160 is the Sundsby crossroad bus stop. The bus stops approximately 200 meters from the manor. You can get here by bus both from near (Stenungsund and Orust) and further (Gothenburg and Uddevalla).

Mysigt ställe dit man kan åka för att fika eller äta mat, kolla i dom små butikerna som finns. Men här finns också promenadstigar med olika längd och svårighetsgrad i vacker terräng. Skogslekplats och grillplats som tillhandahåller ved finns också.

Vackert säteri med café och restaurant. Men framför allt vacker promenad upp på toppen, med utsikt över stora delar av Stigfjorden, samt spännande grottor och klippskrevor som man kan vandra genom på upp eller ned. Ta oömma kläder.

Det här stället ligger bara 2 km från boendet. Vackra vandringsleder och mysigt café / lunch ställe. Ta en tur upp till solklinten och upplev en vacker utsikt över stigfjorden 👐
