Park here for a FANTASTIC HIKING TRAIL along the ocean cliffs that starts at Rodeo Beach.

This small pebble beach is mostly a local spot with wet suit clad surfers as the water is cold. Just past the marine mammal center, you are more to need a jacket than not as it’s coastal. Parking is free. It’s more off the beaten path and less touristy.

Such a beautiful beach to visit. Lots of trails to sightsee and take pictures. Put your GPS to Rodeo beach (if you only want to sightsee the Beach) and once you see signs to visitors center follow the road to the visitors center and it will take you to a parking area where you can see the wonderful bay.

Black sand beach that is a favorite for surfers, trailheads for wonderful hikes through the headlands.
