See the largest known petroglyph site in the Verde Valley. If you got off Hwy 17 at the Sedona offramp (Hwy 179), this would have been to your right down the road a bit when you turned left.

Right down the road is V Bar V, an amazing heritage site.

V Bar V, an hour north via the I-17, features much of the best preserved petroglyph rock art of the SInagua people, if you are interested in archeology. Over 1,000 petroglyphs to see at this site, and an easy walk.
