Another historic sightseeing option is the Cherokee Ranch & Castle. You can sign up for a castle tour or have afternoon tea. Various events are also hosted here, including wine and whiskey tastings, so make sure to check the website (cherokeeranch.org) for any events being hosted during your stay!

This unique venue was once a private estate belonging to Tweet Kimball. It hosts concerts, teas, and other events. Call before you go. You will be impressed. The views are fantastic as is the castle.

Drive the “back way” by taking hwy 67 north out of Woodland Park (and follow maps) for a lovely scenic mountain drive.
