Broadcast is my favorite coffee shop in Seattle and their roaster is right around the corner. Skip the Pike Place Starbucks and just buy your family members a souvenir bag of beans from Broadcast.

Nice clean space to hang out though it may not be an obvious place to have a stopover.

Nice local coffee shop that roasts beans right these on site. Plenty of room to work or just hang out.
