Great location, 3 blocks from metro station, safe neighborhood. Well laid out kitchen with some supplies. Three bathrooms, though the lower level bath is tiny. One thing, the apartment is on 3 levels and some in our party had trouble with with the steep stairs. I would stay here again.

We had a great stay at Dupont House. The location can't be beat - easy walking distance to the Capitol and Mall. I felt safe letting my kids play outside unattended because Capitol police were everywhere. Plenty of space, clean, charming, and updated.

Good to know: one bedroom is on the ground floor and the other two are on the third floor. NOT a good choice for anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs. They are steep and plentiful.

Parking is a pain. We didn't find a solution that allowed us 24-hour parking, so we had to move our car from a lot to the street every day. It's doable, but if you can avoid bringing a car, I'd recommend it. The Metro is two blocks away and we never had to wait more than 6 minutes for an Uber.

This house provided all that we needed for our stay in historic DC. Some renovations seem to have been recently completed and it is very tastefully furnished with a well stocked kitchen. Only drawbacks we found were that the single beds do squeak whenever the person on them moves and the kitchen does not have much counter space for cooking prep and only seats 4 at the table to eat. However, we made do without a problem and enjoyed the little extras: a heated toilet seat, a large family room with couches to play games together, nice linens, spacious bedrooms, coffee K-cups supplied, washer and dryer with detergent, plenty of TVs and a great location for getting around! Patrick was also helpful in getting back to us with any questions we had during our stay. I would definitely recommend this home to others!

Our family of 4 had plenty of space. We enjoyed this home being close enough to walk the Capitol, the metro station and many other local attractions.

A couple of issues we encountered:
*twin beds were VERY squeaky
*Patrick advised in January, the home was being renovated and would have 3 full baths within weeks. I followed up in June asking for an update and was advised the renovations were going well. When we arrived in July, we found the remodel was not complete and we could not take advantage of the full 3rd bathroom.
